After working for over 10 years at some of Sydney’s best hospitality venues, Orlando packed up and moved down to Wollongong to turn his dream of owning his own restaurant into reality. Through Orlando’s extensive knowledge of pizza and his Mother (Angela’s) Nonna’s touch, the pair have grown.

Orlando is committed to providing authentic Italian meals that can be enjoyed by as many people as possible. Da Orlando Woodfire Pizzeria to be amongst the most successful authentic Italian restaurants in Wollongong!
Orlando’s pizza is cooked in the traditional Roman style, making the pizzas crunchier and less doughy. For the more demanding stomach and to keep his pizza very light, he proves the dough for 72 hours at the perfect temperature to achieve the best result possible.
My Story
"Dream Chaser" is a personal narrative that chronicles Orlando's journey from a small city in Italy to Sydney, Australia, in pursuit of his dreams. The book details the highs and lows of his experiences, as well as the mistakes he made along the way. Ultimately, Orlando's story is one of perseverance and determination, and serves as a source of inspiration for young people who may be hesitant to leave their comfort zone in pursuit of their goals. Through his candid and honest writing, Orlando hopes to encourage others to have the courage to chase their dreams, no matter how daunting the challenge may seem.
